This place as a police station is suck, those people are super rude , it's like they don't want to be there, give you attitude when you asked questions, what kind of place is this
I had an encounter with an officer with the Miami Gardens Police Dept. on January 23rd 2017. My engine blew while I was driving and I had broken down on the side of Ronald Reagan Turnpike with my 3 children. Officer Bentencourt came to my rescue when he thought a car had struck me from behind, while I was on the side of the turnpike waiting for help to arrive, with my hazard lights on. He approached my vehicle with caution and announced that he was there to assist in any way, he wasn't rude and mean but genuine and made me feel like he cared about me and my children's safety. He stayed there with me and my children until my father arrived with help. He was very friendly and made me and my kids feel comfortable and safe. I was very scared at first because I did not know what to expect, but Officer Bentencourt assured me that he was there to help and to be worry free. Not all officers are bad. Big thanks to Officer Bentencourt, we need more officers like you!
